Ultimate Rock and Roll Weekend We have some delightful news for all the Rock and Roll fans out there! We have the ultimate Rock N Roll Weekend coming to Dublin. With the Rock N Roll Marathon, Rock N Roll Festival and ourselves hosting Radio Nova at the museum, it’s the perfect way to celebrate our first birthday! Rock and Roll Marathon The number one global happening that brings together music and exercise is coming to Dublin the very first weekend in August! The Rock and Roll Marathon will take place throughout the city center from Friday the 5th to Sunday the 8th featuring races of different lengths as well as fun activities and of course, Rock N’ Roll! The route of the race passes some of Dublin’s scenic attractions like the famous Ha’Penny Bridge, Christ Church Cathedral, Ireland’s oldest pub Brazen Head, James Joyce Museum and the Guinness Brewery, finishing in one of Europe’s largest walled city parks – The Phoenix Park. Rock and Roll Museum’s birthday Meanwhile, over at The Rock and Roll Museum we’re celebrating our 1st birthday! To commemorate our first successful year, we’re teaming up with Radio Nova, who will be broadcasting live from the museum! Join us on Saturday the 6th of August and celebrate our birthday with us! There will be some very special birthday giveaways announced during the broadcast, so stay tuned! In addition, for anyone competing in the races, we’re offering a 20% discount for all the runners!
