Rory Gallagher is a Blues Rock guitairst from Ireland, known as one of the greatest of all time. Born in Ballyshannon in Co. Donegal in 1948, Rory was originally part of the band Taste in the 1960’s before going on to record many solo albums through the 1970’s and 1980’s. He is particularly renowned for his charismatic live performances. He tragically died in 1995 at the age of 47 due to liver transplant complications.
